DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A temporary skywalk to link the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic to the city’s Medical District Parking Ramp is scheduled to open on Monday.
An earlier skywalk link had to be demolished in 2019 to accommodate construction of a new St. Mary’s Medical Center space.
This skywalk will offer safe passage through the current Vision Northland construction project as the covered crosswalk that ran along 1st Street will now be closed.
The new skywalk is open only to staff and patients with appointments who have gone through a COVID-19 screening station in the main lobby of the clinic.
