SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - A recent street light upgrade in Superior will save the city more than 100 thousand dollars a year in energy costs. 536 street lights long Highways 2 and 53 and State Highway 35 were replaced with LED fixtures as part of a Wisconsin Focus on Energy program. Over 151 thousand dollars in rebates from that program and a Department of Transportation Carbon Reduction Program significantly lowered the overall cost of the upgrade.
