DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A group of Line 3 protesters marched through downtown Duluth on Thursday and for a time blocked traffic across and under the Aerial Lift Bridge.
After about 30 minutes and multiple requests by police to disperse, the protesters moved on.
No arrests were made and no injuries were reported.
The estimated 300 protesters were calling on the Biden administration to revoke Line 3 permits and a “Stop Line 3” banner was hung on the side of the bridge.
The rally organizers say a multi-day protest to challenge the pipeline will be held at the State Capitol next week.
