DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – After observing a vehicle speeding and endangering public safety in the Canal Park area of Duluth, a St. Louis County Sheriff’s Deputy pursued the vehicle when the driver refused to stop.
The suspect vehicle was identified as a Chevrolet Silverado pickup that was stolen during a burglary in Fargo on September 18th.
The deputy was able to end the pursuit with a PIT maneuver in the 800 block of West Railroad Street.
The 20 year old Duluth man was taken into custody, transported to an area hospital for evaluation and then jailed on numerous felony and other charges.
An investigation from law enforcement agencies in Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota is continuing.
The incident occurred just after midnight on Monday morning.
