SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – Superior Police are investigating a pair of robberies that happened within 24 hours of each other last week. They don’t believe the robberies on Wednesday night and Thursday were connected.
The robbery on Wednesday was reported at 11 p-m at the Walgreen’s Pharmacy at 2015 Tower Avenue. The male suspect approached a clerk at the store producing a knife and demanding money. Described as a white male, six feet tall and wearing a dark colored stocking hat and sweatshirt, the suspect fled before officers arrived.
On Thursday, around 1:15 p-m, a customer of the Super One at 1515 Oakes Avenue had just put groceries in her car when when a female in her 20’s wearing a mask and teal colored jacket entered the vehicle, flashed a butcher style knife and demanded money. The suspect then fled the area.
Anyone with information about either robbery are asked to contact the Superior Police Department.
