HIBBING, MN (KDAL) – After a month long investigation by several area law enforcement agencies, five people from Hibbing were arrested for the distribution of methamphetamine on the Iron Range.
On Saturday night, three were taken into custody during a traffic stop in Itasca County which yielded a large quantity of meth.
Two others were arrested at a residence in Hibbing where firearms and cash were seized.
The three men and two women, ranging in age from 58 to 19, face conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine charges.
The Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force was assisted in the investigation by the Southwest Corridor Task Force from Riverside, California.
