DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A new bus donated to the Duluth Police Department from the DTA, made its debut at several National Night Out events on Tuesday night.
After a vote by the public, the bus was named CODE4 and will continue to be used as a community engagement tool by the police.
During the summer, CODE4 will travel around Duluth providing ice cream treats to kids and in the winter it will be used to distribute hot chocolate.
The bus could also serve as an emergency shelter for evacuees or a mobile break room for officers at special events.
The CODE4 bus will be on display Wednesday and Thursday at the Public Safety Building.
