ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) – The Minnesota Unemployment rate for July was down a tenth of a point from June to 3.9 percent.
The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development says the state gained 14,500 jobs in July, the largest gain since March.
The biggest gains were in the Leisure and Hospitality sector with losses in Trade, Transportation and Utilities.
Employment rose in over the year figures in all Metropolitan Statistical Areas and was strongest in Duluth-Superior which was up by 7.7 percent.
