DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Essentia 900 million dollar Vision Northland project is marking its first year of construction.
Demolition began on September 9th last year and since then over 41 thousand cubic yards of rock has been removed, 17 thousand cubic yards of cement has been poured and 2.300 tons of steel has been erected.
The eight story and 15 story towers will transform the downtown skyline and will open for patients in the 3rd quarter of 2023.
The largest private investment in Duluth history features more than 750 workers and over half are members of local unions.
Nine subcontractors are headquartered in Duluth and four in Superior.
