NORMANNA TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – An early Monday morning single vehicle crash resulted in the death of a 56 year old Duluth woman.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department says the victim was traveling east on the Pioneer Road in Normanna Township when her vehicle left the roadway, hitting a driveway embankment and was launched into a tree.
Authorities have identified the victim as Kathryn Clark.
This was the second single vehicle fatal crash within a 24 hour period in St. Louis County.
The Sheriff’s office says alcohol factored in both the crashes and neither driver was wearing a seatbelt.
