DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The annual Minnesota Food Share March Campaign got underway Saturday.
The largest grassroots food and fund drive helps to restock the 300 food shelves across the state.
Food shelves in Minnesota including Duluth will have donations made during the month proportionally matched.
The Salvation Army and CHUM food shelves have seen an increase in the number of households in need that use their services.
CHUM has a goal of raising 80 thousand dollars and 40 thousand pounds of food to meet their needs and 5 thousand pounds of food and 20 thousand dollars are needed to meet the Salvation Army’s goal.
