DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The U-S Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund has awarded the Northland Foundation with a 520 thousand dollar grant.
The award will provide loan capital for the foundation’s small business lending program.
Funds will be available for lending to start-ups and existing businesses in the seven county region of northeast Minnesota.
Through their Business Finance Program, the Northland Foundation has lent over 70 million dollars to area businesses and non profit organizations since 1988.
