DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The 21st Annual Rhubarb Festival is being held Saturday from 9 a-m to 3 p-m at the Asbury United Methodist Church, 6822 Grand Avenue in Duluth.
The event features pies, crisps, scones and other baked goods along with jams, jellies and more all made with the thousands of pounds of rhubarb harvested over the last several weeks.
The event is a fundraiser for CHUM and includes various family friendly contests and live entertainment.
On Saturday and Sunday the Twelve Holy Apostles Orthodox Church presents their Taste of Greece at the Marshall School on the Rice Lake Road. Featured will be authentic greek food including shish-ka-bobs, gyros, Athenian chicken and spanakopita.
Greek music and dance is also a part of the celebration from 11 a-m to 5 p-m Saturday and 11 a-m to 4 p-m on Sunday.
