DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Responding to complaints regarding criminal activity, the Lake Superior Violent Offenders Task Force and partner agencies conducted a focused crime impact detail in downtown Duluth.
The enforcement effort resulted in 14 people being arrested with charges that include a felon in possession of a firearm, drug sales, theft, fraud, disorderly conduct and trespassing.
Those in custody range in ages from 22 to 67.
Commander of the task force says the goal was to target individuals involved in serious criminal activity and to disrupt the cycle of violence and drug related crime to help make the downtown area safer for everyone.
