TWO HARBORS, MN (KDAL) – A crash involving multiple motorcycles and another vehicle on Highway 61 Saturday afternoon left one person dead and several others injured.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the group of motorcycles were northbound and had just exited the Silver Creek Tunnel when the crash occurred.
During the collision, multiple motorcycles entered the southbound lane and were struck by another vehicle.
The victim has been identified as 31 year old Alexander Wayne Otis of Bruno, Minnesota.
The highway was closed for several hours following the crash.
