SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Brazil’s Itau Unibanco, Latin America’s largest private lender by total assets, posted on Tuesday a net recurring profit of 10.1 billion reais ($1.8 billion) for the second quarter, above the 8.7 billion reais in profit in the same period last year.
Analysts polled by LSEG expected a net recurring profit of 9.99 billion reais for the quarter ended in June.
