ORR, MN (KDAL) – At 4:20 on Monday afternoon, the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a hit and run near Orr on the Orr Buyck Road.
The occupants of the vehicle that was hit were not injured and said the pickup truck that hit them fled the scene.
Deputies then received a call about a vehicle fire in a driveway a short distance away.
When deputies arrived, the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames and matched the description of the truck involved in the hit and run.
The driver of the truck was located, denied any injuries and was processed for DWI.
The Driver of the pickup truck has been identified as 66-year-old Randy Johnson of Orr. He was lodged at the Virginia Jail on charges of DUI and Failure to Stop for an Accident.
